Perfect Açaí Bowls

SERVING SIZE: 2 DIFFICULTY LEVEL: BEGINNER
PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES COOK TIME: 5 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS:
2 packets of acai
½ cup milk of choice
2 frozen banana
½ cup of ice cubes
1 cup of frozen berries
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:
Protein powder
Maca Powder
Cacao powder
TOPPINGS:
Sliced Bananas
Fresh fruit
Chia seeds
Hemp seeds
Granola
Cacao nibs
Almond butter
Shredded Coconut
Goji Berries
Nut butter of choice
PREP:
Place your serving bowl in the freezer 10-15 minutes before making your acai bowl.
Add ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. I
If the mixture is too thick and not blending, add more milk, 1 tbs at a time. The goal is to blend into frozen paste verse a liquid like a smoothie.
COOK:
After blending, place contents in the chilled bowl and add your toppings.
If adding a nut butter as a topping, mix nut butter with coconut oil to thin out the butter so it is easier to sprinkle on. I use a 4:1 (nut butter to coconut oil) ratio.
