Pan Seared Scallops

SERVING SIZE: 4-6 DIFFICULTY LEVEL: EASY

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES COOK TIME: 10 MINUTES

 

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 16-24 (size pending)Sea Scallops

  2. 1 tsp Salt

  3. 1 tsp pepper

  4. lemon

 

PREP:

  1. Place scallops on a paper towel and sprinkle with salt.

  2. Cover with another paper towel and let sit in the fridge 10 minutes before cooking.

COOK:

  1. Heat pan over medium heat

  2. Add 1 1/2 tbs olive oil

  3. Wait until the oil is ready. If your oil is smoking, your temperature is too hot. Sear scallops in pan 2-3 minutes a side, size pending.

  4. Flip over the scallops and give them a squeeze lemon. Finish cooking and serve hot.
